Relax by Breathing
If you feel stressed, you may see your pulse and your breathing become a little faster. When you are anxious, getting your breathing under control can relax both your body and your head. Sit in a relaxed and comfortable position. Put one hand in your chest and one hand in your belly. Your belly should move over your chest when you breathe deeply. Inhale slowly and generally through your nose. Observe and feel the palms of your hands as you breathe in. Your hand on your chest should remain still while your hands on your tummy will probably move slightly. Repeat this procedure for ten or more days or until you begin to feel your nervousness decrease.
